Garnier Pure Active Neem!

Pimples occur when the sebaceous glands become infected with bacteria, swell up and fill up with pus. Types of pimples: Whiteheads, Blackheads, Papules, Pustules, Nodules, Cysts etc.

Acne is the most common skin disease for adolescents. According to the British Medical Journal (Clinical Evidence, Authors: Sarah Purdy, David DeBerker): (Source: http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/71702.php)
  • More than 80% of teenagers get acne at some point.
  • A community sample of 14 to 16 year-olds in the United Kingdom revealed that acne affected 50% of them.
  • A sample study of adolescents in New Zealand found acne was present in 91% of boys and 79% of girls.
  • A sample study of adolescents in Portugal found that the average prevalence of acne (in both sexes) was 82%.
  • 30% of teenagers with acne required medical treatment because of its severity.
  • General practitioners (GPs, primary care physicians) in the UK reported that 3.1% of 13 to 25 year-old patients visited them complaining of acne.
  • The incidence of acne is similar in both adult males and females.
  • Doctors report that acne appears to peak at 17 years of age.
  • Acne incidence (presence, occurrence) in adults is increasing, doctors report. We don't know why.
One fine day, I woke up at 6 am, rubbed my eyes and went to the washroom to brush my teeth. I washed my face and opened my eyes. I screamed loudly when two red pimples stared at me from my own reflection from the mirror. Oh God! Why, why, why? Didn’t you know the importance of a “First date”? Did you forget that first impression is the last impression? Didn’t my prayers ring a bell in your ears? I had begged for a pimple free skin and you donated two red pimples. God and his unpredictable and unwanted generosity!

I was going mad. It was 7 am and I had a date at 7 pm. I started to think the best possible method to remove or at least reduce the pimples. I was not able to arrive at a concrete conclusion. I called a friend. She told me to use Garnier Pure Active Neem face wash. She had used it earlier and she swore that it was the best face wash in the market. She assured me that it would definitely reduce the redness of the pimples.

I went to the nearby cosmetics shop and purchased a Garnier Pure Active Neem face wash. Garnier Pure Active Neem face wash fights germs, pollution and removes excess oil from skin. It contains real Neem leaf and Tree tea oil extracts. I washed my face with Garnier Pure Neem face wash and went to enjoy an extended afternoon nap. I woke up, ran towards the mirror and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the redness of the pimples had reduced considerably. I heaved a sigh of relief and started to get ready for the date. And it was a great one!

The mighty BOLT!

Tata Motors recently launched “The Bolt”, a mighty mean masterpiece. Tata Motors started the promotional activities in a unique manner. “The Bolt” arrived at various malls on various dates all over India so that people could check out the exciting features of “The Bolt” themselves. And, for the first time in the history of blogosphere, BlogAdda offered a chance to a lucky blogger to win “The Bolt”.

I went to Unitech Cyber Park, Gurgaon on 28th January to witness the awesomeness of “The Bolt”. As I entered inside the premises of Unitech Cyber Park, huge billboards of The Bolt Arena greeted me. True Lies!

Lies are the cheapest way to cheat someone. We often lie because we are afraid of telling the truth. We think that it is safe to lie. We believe that we will never be caught. But we tend to forget that one day, truth will rise like a phoenix and destroy the darkness of lies. We forget that it takes years to gain someone's precious trust and it takes only a few seconds to break that bond of trust with just a small lie!

All of us have told lies, we can never deny that. The reasons might be different, the circumstances may vary but a lie will always be a lie. We should always try to speak the truth even if it may cause a temporary discomfort to someone. A moment of pain is always better than a lifetime of mistrust.

As I passed through various stages of life, I garnered experience, I gathered courage, I found couple of grey hairs on my head and I certainly found out that telling the truth is always the best option. Earlier I used to lie when my parents asked me about the status of my report card. Now I do not lie even when my parents ask me anything about my "Love Life". If you can be honest with yourself, you can certainly be honest with the whole world.

I have adopted the path of truth and honestly, I expect the same from everybody. But you can never compel someone to tell the truth every time. Truth is stranger than fiction and the theme of that fiction varies from person to person.  When someone lies to me, I do not react instantly. I try to be in his/her shoes. I try to think the probable reasons for which he/she was forced to lie. I try to analyse his/her situation. If I fail to arrive at any logical conclusion, then I always try to hear that particular person's version of story: why he/she was compelled to lie? A conversation can always clear any level of misunderstanding. And if, after a good conversation session, I find out that that particular person lied to me without any particular reason, then I always try to forgive him/her. It is another matter that I may never trust him/her completely ever again, still I try to give him/her another chance to adopt the path of truth. We humans often make errors and everybody deserves a second chance, no matter what! Say no to lies. Always try your level best to speak the truth. May the force be with you!

The words which we left unspoken!

You don’t like me, it’s all right,
It’s not my job to be liked, it’s my job to do what’s right.
The things which we left behind, mostly were memories which were not so kind.
The words which we left unspoken, were the feelings which we were unable to find.

Between thoughts and action, there comes temptation.
The show must go on, There will be peace when I am gone.
Without you, Life has no fun.
I seem to be on a never ending run.

First sign of the rains, Lost in your pain,
Thoughts running like a train,
The battle between heart and brain,
Living without you is insane, I am Going through the darkest lane.

When you told me to move on,
Suddenly Life took a U-turn.
You were my passion,
Suddenly I lost my sole source of motivation.

I never had any wrong intention,
Still my soul lost the emotion known as compassion,
No, there were no faults in our relation.
This was the curse of our damned situations.

If there are sins, then there are resurrections.
There is hope in God’s creation.
One day I will arrive at my final destination,
Till then my dreams will hover around oblivion.

The Perfect Proposal!

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. A lucky few will be struck with cupid's arrow. A few singles will be committed for life. A few will suffer heartbreak again. And a few will celebrate their 3rd or 4th Valentine’s Day with the love of their life.

Well, now the most important point “How to propose to your crush on Valentine’s Day”? I am writing this post to help those guys who are going to take the first step towards securing their love life.

First of all, make sure that you know the likes and dislikes of your crush. It does not matter if your crush is single or committed, you have to express your feelings. You have to take a chance. You have to take a leap of faith otherwise you will always regret that you never even tried to propose to your crush. You can never predict the course of fate!

Flowers: You can never go wrong with flowers, especially a bunch of Red Roses! All girls love Red Roses. Yes, go to a nearby florist and grab a bouquet of roses and surprise your lady love. If you propose to your crush and gift her something heavier and if she doesn't like your proposal then she might throw that heavy gift on your face and you will definitely get hurt (both physically and mentally). And Roses can never hurt you, at least physically J

Location: Always choose a public location like a good restaurant, shopping mall etc. At least, your crush will not feel awkward at a public location. If you are going to a restaurant, then try to have a candle light dinner. It always melts the hearts of girls. And while ordering food, let your lady love do the honors. Let her choose what she likes the most and let her choose the best dish for you as well.

Gift: Gift her something which she will cherish forever. Something out of the box, small, cute, and memorable. And never forget that a wrong gift will lead to a heartbreak!

A gentle reminder :P
The Proposal: Do not fumble. Do not try any filmy lines. Always maintain an element of surprise. It is always better to be original. try to keep it simple. Always try to speak what is inside your heart. The feelings of heart will never go unnoticed as heart is pure and full of love. And do not be afraid if she does not reply anything. Girls rarely take any decision instantly. Girls take some time to think about everything except shopping. If she accepts your proposal instantly, then do not do anything stupid. Just behave as a real gentleman and thank your stars. If she rejects your proposal, then do not lose hope. Behave normally and drop her at her home. And whatever be her reaction, always gift her a box of chocolates. There is always a next time. Love will definitely find you someday! Be patient till the arrow of cupid strikes you!

*I will follow these steps to propose to my crush on Valentine's Day.

*Dedicated to the "Love of my life".

The Great Indian Litterbug!

Meet The Great Indian Litterbug. No, do not think that he is uneducated. He is highly educated and works in a reputed company. He enjoys parties, watches Bollywood and Hollywood movies, plays guitar, takes part in debate competitions and earns millions. But when it comes to littering, he proves that he is a class above others!

He orders food from well known restaurants. He relishes the food and then he throws the leftovers on the street and goes to sleep. He forgets that there is a dustbin in his kitchen. Perhaps he is suffering from “Short term memory loss” like the hero of “Ghajini”.

He adores Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. He saw Mr. Bachchan's famous movie “Don” in which Mr. Bachchan ate betel and sang “Khaaike Paan Banaras wala”. Our Great Indian Litterbug gets inspired and tries to imitate Mr. Bachchan. He dresses up like a gentleman, eats a betel, goes out for a walk and spits on the street! Such is the style of our Great Indian Litterbug. No, Mr. Bachchan never told anybody to spit on the road!

Our Great Indian Litterbug believes in “Eat healthy, Stay healthy”. He purchases fresh fruits and vegetables from the market. He never carries a bio degradable bag with him. He packs the fruits and vegetables in polythene bags and brings them home. He stores the fruits and vegetables in the refrigerator and then throws the polythene bags on the street. And all this time, the dustbin in his kitchen makes a mockery of the sign printed on it: USE ME!

Source: www.google.com

He lives in a posh area. He is a well-known face. People respect him. But our great Indian Litterbug believes in urinating in public. Seriously? Does he enjoy fresh air while taking a leak? Does he hate the ambiance of his marble plated modern bathroom? Or does he think that urinating in public is his birth right? Somebody must tell him that urinating in public is a shameful act. In fact, Bollywood should promote this message in a movie!

Our great Indian Litterbug loves to workout. He wants to be fit and healthy like Salman Khan. He works out at his own gym. After finishing an hour of strenuous workout, he goes outside to grab a bottle of juice. After drinking the last drops of the juice, he simply throws the plastic bottle on the road. He tends to forget that plastic is a non-biodegradable material. And he is blind enough to not see the huge dustbins set up across the roads by our government!

Why is he doing this? Doesn't he know that littering is a bad habit? Doesn't he know his rights and duties as a responsible citizen? Doesn't he believe in making our country cleaner? Our great Indian litterbug knows everything yet he keeps on littering. Why? Pure and unadulterated ignorance!

Stop littering and start cleaning. Only then India can be “Swachh Bharat”.

A healthy child makes a happy home!

Health is wealth. Child is the father of nation. Today’s young generation will be tomorrow’s leader. But, for that, today’s young generation has to remain fit and healthy. Now a days, lifestyle has become hectic as well as fast. There is too much pressure on kids to become "Numero uno" in each and every sphere. Kids face pressure from every sphere right from their school days. Constant comparisons and criticism does more harm than good. They have to score 90 % in academics, grab gold medals in sports and take part in extracurricular activities too. And, while trying to excel in every field, somewhere down the line, the young body takes a toll.

Kids love junk food. Kids ignore the rules. Kids love to get drenched in the rain. Kids love to do things which adults can never imagine to do. Kids love their freedom. Kids never care about their health. Kids rarely wash their hands before eating. Kids love to play in the rain. Basically, Kids just love to enjoy themselves. Kids become sick easily as their immune system is not strong enough. When kids fall sick, everybody becomes worried as kids are always the centre of attention and attraction. Our lives revolve around our kids. Taking their proper care is our responsibility. We have to make sure that our kids are always safe and healthy. Even a small bruise on the body of our kids is enough to make us lose our minds.

I have a cousin who is just 6 years old. He is brilliant in studies and excellent in the field of sports. All of us tease him, pamper him and adore him. He is always full of energy and he always makes our lives colorful with his small childish pranks. He is just like other normal kids who never care about health and safety. He loves his PSP and he is a huge fan of David Beckham. He wants to be in India's football team someday. Though he never skips his homework, He always runs away to play football. Once during a rainy day, he grabbed his Manchester United jersey and ran away to play football with his friends. After coming home, he started sneezing. Everybody thought that it was just a case of common cold. During the night, his temperature rose. All of us became worried. We took him to the hospital and thankfully the doctor said that there was nothing to worry about. The doctor prescribed some antibiotics and recommended Dabur Chyawanprash. Dabur Chyawanprash increases Immunity by 3 times.

*To know more about Dabur Chyawanprash, open this link:  https://www.liveveda.com/daburchyawanprash/

The very next day, my cousin was totally fit. And everybody in our household was happy to see him running all around. The champ was back in action and ready to score a few goals!

It's just Quikr in Bangalore!

New city. New beginning. New dreams. New friends. New chapter of life. New apartment. And the headache of running around various malls for purchasing useful as well as unnecessary products! Well these things do happen when you relocate to another city. I had relocated to Bangalore last week and I needed a plan to avoid the chaos of shopping because I was too tired.

I opened my laptop and completed the pending presentations. As I sipped a cup of Green tea, suddenly I remembered that I had to shop a lot. Shopping means investment of time and money, and I was running short of both. I had heard a lot about http://bangalore.quikr.com/ so I decided to check it out.

As the browser started to load http://bangalore.quikr.com/, I grabbed a pen and a piece of paper and prepared a list of really important products. Then I started to search for the best deals on those products.

1) Dining Table: I never enjoyed eating food in my bed. I always enjoyed having dinner on the dining table. I found a Dining table with four chairs at just Rs 7500/- . http://bangalore.quikr.com/Dining-table-4-seater-W0QQAdIdZ198111281

2) Refrigerator: I love chilled beers. And I love weekend parties. So the next thing on my shopping list was a refrigerator. Refrigerator is a multitasking electronic appliance. It can cool beers and it can preserve food too. In short, It's like a lifeline for lazy guys like me. After a few minutes and after going through several options, I selected a Godrej refrigerator. It looked nice and it was very cheap (only Rs 3500/-) .

3) Washing Machine: Washing clothes manually is such a tiring and boring task! Ask any bachelor and he will definitely agree. I needed a washing machine. And my search began. I wanted to purchase a washing machine which belonged to a reputed brand. As I found a LG washing machine, my eyes gleamed with joy and the price of Rs 3500/- was the icing on the cake. http://bangalore.quikr.com/Washing-machine-for-sale-W0QQAdIdZ198008179

4) Television: ICC Cricket World Cup is just around the corner. I am a huge fan of Virat Kohli and I want to watch each and every match LIVE! So, I decided to purchase a television too. And I was literally shocked when I came across an ad which read: Brand new Sony Bravia 32” for just 25,000/-. I rubbed my eyes and rechecked the ad. For me, it was a “Seal the deal” moment!

5) Music System: Television is incomplete without good quality music system. We Indians love to make some noise. Cricket matches are incomplete without loud commentary and house parties are incomplete without loud music. So I needed a good music system. I couldn't believe my luck when I found a brand new set of Samsung multimedia speakers for just Rs 4000/- whose market price was 5000/-.

6) Xbox 360These were the products which I had wrote down on a piece of paper. Just when I was about to call all the sellers to confirm the availability of the products, the gamer inside me intervened and motivated me to purchase an Xbox 360. I had to satisfy the gamer inside me so I purchased an Xbox 360 for just Rs 12,000/-

Then I turned off my laptop and called all individual sellers. All of them had the products in stock and they agreed to come over to my place to deliver the products. During the evening, the sellers came and delivered the products. I checked all products before paying any money and I was amazed to see the quality of the products and the friendly behavior of the sellers. Now, my apartment looks classy, all thanks to http://bangalore.quikr.com/. I saved time as well as a few bucks too!
